Backup drive failure?

My USB hub for my iPod Shuffle blew out. I think it may have taken the external drive I was using as backup with it. I may buy a copy of SpinRite and see if I can repair it. If it doesn't help, at least I would have contributed to Steve Gibson's excellent Security Now podcast.

New Blogger

Well, it's been a while. It's been so long that there's a new version of Blogger that requires a Google account. So I created one and added this post.
